- Live ammunition of any kind.
- 1208 Thunder Bore or any load made with non-commercial powder. Use of a 1208 Thunder Bore may classify the device as a destructive device under ATF regulation.
- Any third-party, unapproved, or modified blank.
- Metal-crimped 9mm blanks.
- Standard 2¾″ or 3″ shotshells.
Safety. Use only PAMAX-approved blank cartridges listed on this page. Never load live ammunition. Use of unapproved blanks, live ammunition, or modifying blanks or the device is prohibited, voids all warranty coverage, and may cause injury or death or increase fire hazard. Never use a 1208 Thunder Bore in any PAMAX device.
Always assume the device is loaded and armed — although not a firearm, treat it as one. Always wear eye and hearing protection. Never throw a device at a person or near anyone’s head. Keep hands and fingers away from the base and gas ports. Keep the safety pin in place before loading or arming. Keep devices and blanks away from flammable materials and store blanks in a cool, dry place. Some blanks contain lead.
